Cops Car - Time’s Down

In this personal project, I modeled from scratch the police car driven by the Time Agent in Time's Down, the ArtFX graduation film I co-directed, taking inspiration from Christopher Nolan's Batmobile

Time's Down was my graduation film at ArtFX, co-directed with Nils Lemonnier, François Brugalières, Yan Weitlauff and Valentin Soulard. The film was nominated at the 19th VES Awards in the student category, won the GENIE Award 2021 for Best Student Film (PIDS) and was named Film of the Year at the Rookie Awards 2021

On the film, I was co-director, lead and modeler. I built the Cops Car entirely from scratch in Maya and ZBrush, drawing on the armored, muscular look of Nolan's Batmobile, the Tumbler, and adapting it into a police vehicle for our Time Agent

The car then went through the rest of the team: texturing and compositing by Valentin Soulard, lighting by François Brugalières and animation by Nils Lemonnier. Seeing it come to life in the film was a great example of teamwork on a student production
