In this personal project, I modeled the Alfa Romeo 4C Pogea Racing Car in Maya, then lit and rendered it with Houdini and Arnold before compositing the final images in Photoshop

This project had been sitting in my files for a while without ever being shown. It started purely for fun, as a way to enjoy modeling a car I like in Maya, then to dive into lighting with Houdini and Arnold

For the renders, I placed the car in a dark, misty space lit by a single volumetric beam from above, with a wet, reflective floor catching the light around it. I wanted the image to feel cinematic and minimal, letting the shape of the 4C and its racing wing emerge from the shadows

I made it in my spare time to stay productive, explore new skills and push my creative boundaries. Whatever our level of experience, there is always room to experiment and find joy in creating, and projects like this remind me why I love what I do. The same model also became the base of my Batmobile-inspired concept
