Queen Elizabeth and Paddington Bear

At Framestore, I was the modeler on Queen Elizabeth and Paddington Bear, the short film created for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in 2022, building the tea table, its props, the teapot and the chair

During my two months on the project, I modeled the table and all the props on it, and created a first rough pass of the environment. I then focused on two hero assets, the teapot and the chair

The chair was the most challenging asset for me. It required careful attention to its shape and detail so that it would hold up in the final shots. I worked in Maya and ZBrush across modeling, sculpting and layout

The film was broadcast as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations and reached a very wide audience. I am proud to have contributed to it, and glad it was so well received

The project won the 2023 BAFTA TV Award (Memorable Moment)
