At Framestore, I built the previs environments for The Last of Us Season 1 on HBO, including the street, the laundromat in clean and damaged states, and the pavilion with Clickers and Bloaters

I worked on the previsualization before filming began, my second previs project. I was the only artist working on these environments, so I had to build them quickly while keeping enough detail to support the visual and staging needs of each scene

My work covered three locations: the street with the laundromat, the laundromat itself inside and out, in both clean and damaged states, and the pavilion sequence with Clickers and Bloaters. Throughout the project, I collaborated closely with the Unreal Engine artists who assembled and used these environments, and optimized the assets for that real-time workflow

To speed up the work, I developed tools that made shader management easier. Although the pace was that of previsualization, I brought the same care and level of detail to the modeling that I apply to assets for final VFX production. I worked in Maya and ZBrush
