I co-directed Time's Down, my ArtFX graduation film (2020), nominated at the 19th VES Awards and winner of the PIDS GENIE Award and the Rookie Awards Film of the Year
Time's Down was the final project of my Master in CGI and Visual Effects at ArtFX, co-directed with Nils Lemonnier, François Brugalières, Yan Weitlauff and Valentin Soulard. The film was nominated at the 19th VES Awards in the student category, won the GENIE Award 2021 for Best Student Film (PIDS) and was named Film of the Year at the Rookie Awards 2021
Alongside co-directing, I was lead and modeler on the film. I modeled every asset in Time's Down, from the environments to the vehicles, including the Time Agent's police car and the futuristic motorcycle
My work went well beyond modeling. I also worked on the layout of the shots, on set dressing and on lighting, which let me follow the film across much of the pipeline, from the construction of each scene to the final images
The film's recognition also came with a personal distinction: I was a finalist for Rookie of the Year at the Rookie Awards 2021. Time's Down remains the project that opened my path into the VFX industry
